Being described as the epitome of quintessential English quirkiness, Patchwork Grace are slowly creeping into the bowels of the stale British music scene creating exciting provocative imagery and sound for the hearts, souls and heads of those bored of the same old manufactured music. Formed in the post colliery wastelands of Nottingham in January 2005, Patchwork Grace stepped out to learn their trade the hard way. Having come to the attention of small independent label “Trashpit Records” they released their first single attaining “single of the week” status for three weeks running in their target HMV stores.
The band have toured up and down the country entertaining people from Barfly and Academy Circuits to Their local venues Rock City (Nottingham) and The Assembly Rooms (Derby), acquiring tour slots with such luminaries as; The Subways, The Fight, Trashlight Vision, Komakino, Engerica and The Start.
Patchwork Grace have earned their praise from underground magazines and fan sites worldwide - ‘There's punk, there's trash, there's rock n' roll, a tinge of goth and a smidge of pop in there - there's a lot of crazy stuff going on - most of it very dark and dirty.’ Perhaps this is why radio stations such as XFM and Kerrang! Have cottoned onto the band deemed indefinable? Vocalist Tori Trash says “We’re just trying to do something a little different, when I realised that the only entertainment you have is watching other people, I didn’t want to become that voyeur. I wanted to be part of entertainment and make people think in the process, we aren’t trying to be controversial or anything like that, we would like to think were opening peoples eyes and ears, and giving them something to cry about.” With over 17,500 fans on their official MySpace site the band have a loyal ever growing fanbase and work hard to keep them happy, with international fansites cropping up here and there, they’re doing a good job.
In 2007, after sell out shows at the Underworld (Camden) and Storm (Leicester Square), negotiations were entered into with respected music business impresario Allan James and The BUT! Group, consequently Patchwork Grace readily joined the roster co-habiting their artistic freedom with serious intent and as a result of this the band produced their debut album ‘Milk Teeth’, ‘Milk Teeth’ is not just an offering of crazy little songs with a few very strange titles, sweat and blood and vomit went into to making of it, this album is raw, beautiful, tragedy, comedy and the best thing is…they mean it!

Since the album ‘Milk Teeth’ was released the band have had their promo video for ‘Soap’ shown on Sky TV’s  MusFlash and have created a buzz online and in the media including being nominated for several awards at the Pure Rawk Awards 2008.
In 2008 the band are set to release their debut single 'The Lovecats' on February 11th. The single is available to pre-order now from HMV, Zavvi and Amazon.
In late 2007 the band shot the new video for 'The Lovecats' which you can see here.
